I was talking to my dad today about photography. We were discussing how we have always had an interest in photos and really enjoy taking them.... and dad said something that really struck me... He said the reason he loves photography is b/c you can never freeze time except though a photo. That picture will be with us for hundreds of years.. if not longer. So, tonight I headed to the basement to sort though some old pics and get them out of boxes. I ran across pictures from childhood, high school, college, family photos and some of me and Mark when we first got together. It brought back soooo many wonderful memories :)
There have been several times I have been holding Lucas and thought "I wish he could stay exactly this way forever." I try to cherish every moment with him because I know they grow up so fast. I take hundreds of pictures of him (mark actually calls me the paparazzi). But, I know that in years to come these pictures will be our little treasures. They actually already are...
